DINING & SHOPPING

Like most major cities, Murfreesboro is home to all the dining and shopping you need! After picking up a new outfit at the Stones River Mall or browsing all the store options at the Avenue, join your buddies for a beer at one of Murfreesboro’s breweries (Mayday Brewery just to name one!). From there, head down the road to grab some local grub. Some examples include: Marina’s on the Square, Five Senses Restaurant, Carmen’s Taqueria, Primrose Table, Steakhouse Five, and many more.

RECREATION

With 12 miles of existing greenways and a masterplan to add 150+ more miles, there’s no shortage of space to go for a run, ride a bike, and share the fresh air with the kids or your furry friend. Murfreesboro is the perfect place to take a dive into Civil War history. Home to one of the deadliest battles in the entire war, the Stones River National Battlefield is a solemn piece of history that can’t be missed. Engage curious minds at the Discovery Center children’s museum and be sure to visit the Earth Experience Museum of Natural History.
