DINING & SHOPPING

With convenient access to I-40, multiple shopping and dining options are just 20 minutes away from Trousdale County in Lebanon. If you’d prefer to stay in Trousdale County, there are a select few local options such as Dillehay’s Cafe, Hartsville Taco Company, and Farmer’s Harvest which offers meat & three options with farm-raised fresh meat, produce and creamery ice cream.

RECREATION

Trousdale County is located within an hour drive of Nashville, and offers the scenic beauty of rural middle Tennessee, a hometown feel and a handful of recreational opportunities. The Cumberland River flows through providing opportunities for boating, kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Fun fact: The world record Walleye was once caught in Trousdale County!

If you enjoy the outdoors but want to spend some time not on the water, check out Trey Park, the local skatepark, the Trousdale County swimming pool, and the Pine Cove Campsites. Friday nights in the fall are known for bringing the community together under the lights for local football games.

SCHOOLS

For the 2022 school year, there are three public schools serving 1,286 students in Trousdale County School District. Trousdale County is home to the Yellow Jackets, and the tight-knit community of local football fans can often be found at John Kerr Field on Friday nights in the fall.
